Data Removal
Shiftpunch has no account and no server. We hold no copy of your shifts, jobs, rates or notes — so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Everything the app stores lives in its private storage on your phone, and you remove it yourself.
Delete part of your data
- A shift or planned shift: open it in Today or Calendar and delete it.
- A job: Settings ▸ Jobs ▸ open the job ▸ Delete. This also removes the shifts, time off and templates recorded for that job.
- Time off, a bonus, tip, deduction, advance or expense: open it in Calendar or Pay and delete it.
- A rotation or template: Settings ▸ Schedule.
Delete everything
Either:
- Android Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Shiftpunch ▸ Storage ▸ Clear storage. This wipes all data (including the app's internal backup copy) and returns the app to its first-run state; or
- Uninstall Shiftpunch. Removing the app removes all of its data from the phone.
Both are immediate and permanent. If you want to keep a copy first, export a backup from Settings ▸ Your data.
Android backup
If Android backup is on, a copy of the app's data may exist in your own Google account's device backup. Manage or delete it in Android Settings ▸ System ▸ Backup (or your Google account settings). We cannot access it.
Files you exported
PDF timesheets, CSV and calendar files and JSON backups you shared or saved are ordinary files under your control. Delete them wherever you sent them.
Subscriptions
Deleting your data does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play app under Subscriptions.
