Data Removal
Shiftpunch has no account and no server. We hold no copy of your shifts, jobs, rates or notes — so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
Everything the app stores lives in its private storage on your phone, and you remove it yourself.
Delete part of your data
- A shift: open it in the Shifts list and delete it.
- A job: Settings ▸ Jobs ▸ delete. This also removes the shifts recorded against that job.
- An adjustment (deduction, advance, bonus, tip): open it in the Pay screen and delete it.
Delete everything
Either:
- Android Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Shiftpunch ▸ Storage ▸ Clear storage. This wipes all shifts, jobs and settings and returns the app to its first-run state; or
- Uninstall Shiftpunch. Removing the app removes all of its data with it.
Both are immediate and permanent. If you want to keep a copy first, export a backup or a PDF/CSV from the app before you clear it.
Files you exported
PDF timesheets, CSV files and JSON backups you shared or saved are ordinary files under your control, in whatever location you sent them to. Delete them there.
Subscriptions
Deleting your data does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it in the Google Play app under Subscriptions.
